Nick AU is on the air around the clock with the same programming that generally airs in the US, plus Aussie-made programs, as well as imports from Britain and Canada.  As with the US, features include Nick Jr. and Snick. Until early 2001, Nick was seen from 6AM to 8PM (10PM Saturdays), with the balance being  "Nick-At-Nite" (Sunday to Friday from 8PM to 1AM and Saturdays from 10PM to 1AM). The Australian Nick-At-Nite featured "Gilligan's Island", "Get Smart", "Sanford & Son", "Courtship Of Eddie's Father", "The Fugitive" and "Bonanza", plus British ITC fare like "The Prisoner", "The Saint" & "Thunderbirds", as well as US Nick-At-Nite stand-bys like "Mary Tyler Moore" and "Bob Newhart". The Aussie Nick-At-Nite was discontinued in early 2001, due to competition from a similar Viacom-owned channel, TV1, as well as the fact that the main portion of Nick wanted to expand around-the-clock, though most of its audience will be sleeping in the wee hours of the morning. Briefly (at least), the main Nick block was on the air around the clock after Nick-At-Nite's demise, but they later cut back its hours to 6AM to 12 Midnight every day.

Promos

Some interesting promos now being seen on Nick AU to promote Rugrats and Nick's Nicktoon block, Mish Mash Toonfeast:

1. One promo features an "interview" with Tommy, composed of clips from the Classic 65.

2. Another promo is based on the ones used to promote soap operas, featuring examples of "greed", "deceit" & "revenge". Clips came from:
Tooth Or Dare Angelica says, "It's mine! All mine!"
Tricycle Thief Susie says "Whoever did this is going to have to pay!"
(unknown episode) Angelica says "I'll never do it again. I promise."

3. In a promo for Mish Mash, Chuckie plays "host" through more clips.
